This Thursday our students will get the chance to showcase the clothing items/accessories they made in our classes at a Fashion Show with our partnership with Live 2 Free! We will also be selling items that our students have made!
Opia Upcycling Summer Camp
During the Summer of 2021, we had a 4-week upcycling class where LBGTQ+ teens learned how to upcycle. During the 4 weeks, they got to learn how to hand sew and use a sewing machine. We made mini projects for them to make unique pieces to showcase at our Fashion Show this August! We had such a great time hanging with them and creating awesome things! We cannot wait for the next steps for Opia Upcycling!
